I served on City Council with Randy and sat on the Public Works Committee which he chaired. Public Works is the largest and operationally significant committee, meeting the needs of our citizens related to infrastructure: water, roads, storm and sanitary sewers, intersections, as well as interactions with other state and local agencies including fire and police. Randy was exemplary. He demonstrated efficiency and efficacy in his activities. Meetings were well run and discussions were on-topic.

In Randy, we have the right steward for the protection and deployment of our resources. Most important of all to me is the topic of resource management. From any governmental entity, I have expectations for my tax dollars. This includes tax management, fiscal and financial leadership, direction of time for council members and city employees, interaction with our wonderful public-private partnerships, communications with our citizenry, and representation that serves the best interests of the entire community.

Randy is best equipped to represent my interests. His professional and personal experiences make him the best choice for Mayor for the future of our City. Randy is focused, energetic, rationale, engaging, and a good listener. He will hear us and represent us well as the future leader of Lake Forest.
